One of our business units, PT. Great Giant Livestock (GGL) is cattle – fattening business whose purchases domestic cattle and fattens them with pinemeal (feed made out of pineapple peel) and other organic materials over a period of 90 to 100 days. GGL also processes pineapple peel, an abundant waste product that is difficult to dispose of, into pinemeal for internal use and for export to overseas market, mainly Japan.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is willing to take increased responsibilities and challenges for the following position:
Farm Manager (FM)
Lampung
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all process of cattle fattenin
Day-to-day operational decision
Responsible for health and comfort of livestoc
Responsible for monthly inspection of farm
Requirements:
Male, Maximum 40 years of age
Graduate qualification in Farm
Minimum 5 years of similar experience and role in Farm area
Preferable has experience in cattle fattening business
Independent, meticulous, organized and ability to work under pressure and deadline
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Thorough knowledge of animal diseases and proper treatment
Great ability to plan and direct farm operations
Strong ability to train, instruct, and supervise farm personnel
Remarkable ability to detect and treat animal diseases
Immense ability to use farm equipment and to make general repairs
Strong ability to maintain records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence related to the work.
